I was born in El Paso Texas, to John and Carmen Haddox in 1955. Although I am the eldest of a large group of siblings, our parents always encouraged me and my brothers and sisters to learn about art through classes, art books, and frequent trips to museums.
I graduated from Loretto Academy, UTEP, and UT Austin, and I have also studied at NMSU and St. Edward's University. My teaching career began in 1976, and my experience ranges from kindergarten to college sophomores. I am currently a part-time instructor at EPCC. Last year, I decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of working as a photographer and opening a small business.
I enjoy volunteering in my community and have served as member of a Board of Directors for several civic, artistic, and religious organizations.
I have two sons, Mark, a pharmacist, and Ian, a university professor. I am married to John Huber, who owns an antique business.
